At first glance, Acrylicraft’s Seeshell Dinghy is probably unlike any other craft you’ve ever seen. Best described as a glass-bottom boat, the dinghy is actually constructed of UV-stabilized acrylic.
The entire body of the boat, not counting the two rows of seats, is completely clear, so you can seen the underwater environment all around you. The 8-foot-long boat has a capacity of up to 500 pounds, including the motor, which is sold separately. (An outboard of up to 2 hp can be used to operate the dinghy.) The boat weighs only 100 pounds, so it can be carried easily by two adults and transported in a car, truck or trailer.
